This stroller is a great option for those who require a lightweight travel stroller. It comes with all the features parents look for in a stroller. It has all-terrain tires and front suspension for smooth riding. It's also very light and weighs less than 12 pounds. It has a simple one-hand and self-standing fold. It has two cups holders on each tray to accommodate the child and parent.

Its quality, though it is a bit at the lower end and it didn't perform well in our tests of maneuverability. It has a flexible frame, which makes pushing it over rough surfaces feel like lifting weights. This might be fine when you use the cheap single stroller on smooth sidewalks, but for most people, it's likely to not provide a comfortable experience.

It comes with a carry bag which zips up for easy storage. It can be used from birth using the infant car seat adapter, and provides a decent amount of shade by way of its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only downside is that some parents find the style to be a bit utilitarian and expensive.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than other lightweight single person buggy strollers. However, it was designed specifically to be a luxury urban stroller and for travel. It's among the easiest strollers to fold (and comes with a handy carry case), and it comes with plenty of storage space, including a cup holder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult, and reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used with a newborn with the car seat adapter. The handlebar cannot be adjusted and could be an issue for some parents who are short.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it has numerous wonderful features that help kids travel more easily. The spacious seat reclines to a flat position, and comes with additional padding to make those naps on the plane last longer. The extendable canopy offers good sun protection, and the tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also has a spring-loaded footrest that doubles as a handle when folded. This footrest is vulnerable to being damaged by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

The Uppababy Minu V2 is a premium stroller that doesn't skimp on quality or design. Its compact design allows it to easily navigate through narrow streets and tight spaces and its robust structure allows it to withstand rough terrain without compromising the safety of your child. The spring-action suspension on the front and rear makes for more comfort for your child, and its sturdy materials will endure the wear and tear of daily use. Additionally it can be enlarged to accommodate additional items such as an infant car seat.

Even with a baby in the mix, the Minu was easy to fold and move around. Its squat almost square fold which folds in thirds, is one of the easiest in our tests and allows it to easily fit in overhead compartments on planes or public transportation. It comes with a single push chair-action color-coded brake that is easy to use.

The seat reclines in multiple positions, and the leg rest can be adjusted using one hand, making it easy to determine your child's ideal position. The UPF 50+ hood slid down quite far and was perfect to shield Cora's eyes from sun (though not as low as some other strollers). There's also a medium-sized mesh peek-a-boo window which closes magnetically, and is glued to the canopy rather than using noisy Velcro.

With a weight of just under 15 pounds, the Minu is light enough to carry with a built-in carry handle and shoulder strap. It can be put in the trunk of your car, and comes with a storage container and Uppababy TravelSafe, which extends the warranty of the manufacturer by two years and includes the cost of replacement if something is damaged in the course of air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy, a well-known stroller brand, produces a variety of models. This light model is a good option for parents who are looking for an all-purpose stroller that can carry kids around, offers ample storage, is fairly easy to move around and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. This model is not suitable for those who want an additional stroller or car seat compatible model. It does not accept infant car seats. Your children should be able to sit upright on their backs before they can use it.

This stroller is brimming with features and is offered at a reasonable price. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other strollers with similar specifications. It's also a great choice for smooth paved surfaces. It has a large parent tray, a canopy and plenty of storage. The handlebar is a bit smaller than the average, and the front wheel suspension is more rigid, but it is still suitable for adults.

If you have twins, or two children of different ages you may discover a side by side stroller to be the best choice to transport them. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It has a lot of features and is small in size that allows it to fit into places where other side-byside strollers won't.
