However, this is an excellent stroller, and one of our top choices for families who need something that can take them through daily use and even occasional adventures. It has a pretty wide footrest and is well cushioned, which means that little ones will be comfortable. The seat reclines to a flat position but we found that it was somewhat difficult to adjust and required two hands. The adjustable calf support is an attractive feature that will allow your child's feet to flex when they're tired.

Like many of the other strollers we have reviewed The City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and which parents rave about. The sun shade is designed beautifully and can be pulled completely down. This is fantastic because it will protect your child from the sun without the need to constantly put the shade back in place.

Another great aspect of the City Mini is that it can be converted into a double stroller by attaching an accessory kit. This gives you the option of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating an entire travel system from the start. The only downside is the fact that adding a second seat to the stroller alters its appearance and feel. Some parents may be unable to manage this once they become accustomed to it.

Another alternative to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. It is a bit more expensive than the single City Mini but it does have additional features, including "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres that make it suitable for off-roading. It has a movable handlebar as well as parking brakes that is operated by hand and a more user-friendly design than the standard City Mini.
