If you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that can double into a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy when navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for city dwellers as well as jet-setters. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents who are looking for a stroller that is versatile. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be transformed from a stroller to the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then decide which one is the best fit for their adventure. The wagon can be used by two or more children from 6 months up to 5 years, and it comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell, which is not as large or deep as other wagons, so it might not be comfortable for long-distance trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely after folding. It is easy to maneuver however, and it can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions, which means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store into a car trunk. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we test, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades it has are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It is missing certain features we believe are essential for a double stroller. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is described as an urban travel system. It is suitable from birth until 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted in only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base, and a reversible car.

The seat reclines with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to help their child in and out. The narrow pushchair sailed through everyday bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position, or they can rotate. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate while walking along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler Jogging pushchairs, however they also make a good selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers we test, but the wheels are rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain. It's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other prams' hoods that are whipped back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's big enough to hold an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be used with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's a frame made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It is a standout model with many unique features, including the ability of the seat to flip between the parent and the world, a large UPF50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are tough and filled with foam which minimizes punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension which takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. It was easy to push, and our tester was able to maneuver the car through tight streets.

It folds down in four easy steps and locks automatically without hassle. It can also be rolled and stood up for easier transportation down the stairs or in the boot of the car. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the ability to add a car seat and a carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes come with a single strollers that connect action and are color coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and has a great dual suspension. It folds with one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also light and durable. The seat is reclined in several positions. It is equipped with a double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is an angled single gb stroller that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can face each other or rotate around to face the parents, theoretically reducing sibling disputes over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large tray for gears with a bottle holder as well as snack tray. It also has an automated frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents that like to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers you can purchase for your child. It comes with excellent safety features such as a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It also comes with a twist hand brake which is different than the lever type found on competing models.

The seat is very comfortable and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's depth is smaller than that of other runners (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin comes with an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs., which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as of yet, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for most seats by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and assemble in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
