The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or allow them to rotate which helps when covering rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along an uneven path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem to be a bit more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler pushchairs for jogging, but they also make a good selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is simple to use and folds small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

This budget pushchair is easy to use and comes with a great dual suspension. It can be folded using just one hand, and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress built in that is suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.
