MadeForMums tested the Cybex Avi Spin for us and we had the chance to take it out with one of Australia's top middle-distance runners, Genevieve Gregson who recently became mother to her daughter. We asked Genevieve Gregory what she thought of the pram, and if it could be improved.

The front swivel wheel is unparalleled for maneuverability even in tight urban corners and the tyres that are filled with air provide comfortable cushioning for city strolls, nature walks or even runs. The swivel can be locked to give additional stability when running on a rough terrain. The fully reclining seat is ergonomically designed to lay flat and is suitable for babies from birth. The one-pull strap makes it easier to access and exit the seat, while the compact all terrain stroller folding makes it easy to store or transport. The wheels can also be removed for a smaller fold! The brake lever is situated on the right-hand side of the handlebar, which can make it difficult to operate with just one hand.

Out N About Nipper V5

The Out N About Nipper V5 allows you to take your baby for easy jogs or off-road strolls in complete comfort. It is more expensive than other models due to the fact that it doesn't come with an option for a parent-facing seat and is not compatible with car seats. However, it offers good maneuverability and can handle any terrain.

The assembly is quite simple, and the user manual is very clear and easy to follow. The only issues I have are that they're noisy as well as clunky. Also, the Velcro used to secure them may make your baby scream. This is a concern especially if you're walking in a park quietly and don't want other parents to be disturbed. The absence of a storage compartment beneath the seats was considered a disadvantage.
