The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This shark vacuum Mop robot works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads clean your floors better than a vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view and washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be cleared out frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best shark robot vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping heavy duty robot vacuum. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu in which you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.
