The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning robot mop and vacuum with a single button press. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think it's a nice statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum cleaner known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

Finally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can manage it even when not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
