Bowers & Wilkins flagship headphones which is the PX7 S2 have always been on top lists of wireless headsets since the release of the first generation PX7, in 2015. They are in the same class as Sony WH1000XM5 or Bose QuietComfort. The newest model, called the PX7 S2, is an upgrade that takes the first headphones to a higher level, with better ANC performance as well as a fresh design.

The bio-cellulose drivers of 40mm in the earcups have been angled so that they directly hit your eardrums. This gives you a more intimate audio experience unlike other closed-back headphones. The PX7 S2 lives up to this claim with a fervent zeal. The vocals are clear and the bass is deep when needed.

The PX7 S2 is also very excellent at making calls. It has a clear and clear sound that does not drown out your voice. They also offer a quick charge that gets you back to full power in just two hours, and they're compatible with high-resolution audio, thanks to an aptX adaptive Bluetooth codec that allows them to play music with 24-bit resolution.

The Bathys are made from premium materials like aluminum and magnesium, which make them feel durable, comfortable, and well worth the cost.

In Bluetooth mode when Bluetooth is enabled, the Bathys deliver a crisp and vibrant sound that easily surpasses similarly priced consumer ANC options such as the Bose QC45. Direct DAC audio mode allows them to be extended and makes them an excellent choice for true hifi enthusiasts.

The Focal &Naim app lets users to alter the headphone's playback controls and Bluetooth pairing preferences. You can select between soft or silent intensities for ANC, alter the brightness of LEDs that are on the ear cups, and tweak settings for EQ. Their matte finish and durable construction gives them a hint of luxury.

They are similar in design to Sony's newer 1000X and XB910N headphones. They sport a slim, plastic headband that has the typical hinges on the earcups. They're light and comfortable, but they are a little too compressed for Wireless bt headphones me. In the box, they have a USB-C port for charging, the 3.5mm jack and a decent length cable. They allow multipoint Bluetooth pairing, which means you can connect them to two devices simultaneously should you choose to.

In my tests the CH720N's hybrid tech for noise cancellation did an excellent job of reducing ambient sound. There were only a few glitches while walking around Waterloo Station and London Victoria. The sound-silencers weren't able to block every sound around them however they struggled with lower frequency sounds like the rumbling engine sound of trains and buses.

Streaming music over the CH720N's Bluetooth connection was smooth and showed a low amount of harmonic distortion. I tested a range of genres and discovered that they were able to handle the intricate interplay between instruments very well. It did an impressive job of controlling the bass in rock tracks and keeping the mix in focus.

I love the possibility of adjusting the Sony Headphones Connect app to customize the CH720N's ANC and multipoint connectivity settings to your liking, as well as add a range of audio presets. The WH-CH720N is an excellent value for PS130. It lacks some of Sony's top features (such as Speak-toChat and Quick Attention) but it has a lot of excellent features. 360 Reality Audio, smart controls and the DSEE upscaling are all present. The only thing that's missing is LDAC Bluetooth high-res audio support which I believe would have been a great inclusion.
