Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for another similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Leveling

Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
