WoW Upgrades - The item upgrading Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with lower requirements due to the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item upgrades used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

When a piece has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change is designed to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount on the account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
