It can be a bit difficult to test as there are various pins on the connector and each one has different functions. The best way to do it is by measuring the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. When the sensor is operational, it should be reading approximately 1000 ohms. Examine for evidence of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you have issues with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll, I experienced massive power loss like the engine is running out of gas or the injectors are not firing anymore. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs, 3 were soaked with gazoline and the fourth was dry. I placed a tissue over each injector hole, and when I start the engine with no sparks, the three with gazoline jump right out. The 4th one remains closed. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got zero ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car will start if the G28 is unplugged and it runs perfectly when it is plugged in, but still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temp value -49c, even if I unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars when the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not certain what to do, i feel i have pretty much eliminated everything else. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. Let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!

The fuel pump of the g28 gets a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sensor is identical to the G4 and both are used in the 80, 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars so you can easily find one at a wrecking yard or at a parts store.
