Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an ode to the traditional sextet style and an even more consistent and powerful effort with a harder edge. The more edgier sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the growth of the band. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing virtuosity was reflected by the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature.
