Reasons Why Your Nissan Qashqai Key Fob Won't Work

The Qashqai has a distinct SUV-like appearance due to its bigger dimensions, and the 19-inch wheels on Ti and ST-L models may be firm at times. The front tyres of the Qashqai could also lose grip on rough surfaces, and its CVT can sometimes display a wrist-flexing torque steering.

It is usually caused by the battery of a coin that is dead. It can be easily repaired in a matter of minutes. Make sure that the replacement battery is of the same voltage, size and specifications.

Water Damage

Water damage is among the most frequent causes for a Nissan keyfob to display the "key ID is incorrect" message. The rubber seals on the key fob shield the chip's electronic components, however prolonged exposure to moisture could cause it not to work correctly. This is usually the case when you drop your key fob in the ocean or in a swimming water pool, but it could occur if it becomes wet from soapy hands or rain.
