The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a commercial robot vacuum vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and create virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it lacks a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals, and best robot vacuum it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot vacuum for pets mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can wish for. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when required.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features, but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
