It's the latest - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller collection. It's also as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible so that you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design features, like rose-gold hues on the chassis, hood, and stroller trims that really distinguish it from. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to complement.

The stroller seat can be used from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily to a two-in-one reversible position, either parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with various lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extended sun canopy with hidden zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and a retractable visor.

What's more, when it's folded it's Pace measures 56 32 x 43 cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among others. It's also easy to collapse, with two buttons on either side of the handlebar that just need to be pressed in and then pop out.

It's a little larger than some pushchairs but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you're pushing it over bumpy surfaces.

The seat fabric is machine washable and the faux leather frames and grips are easy to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs and I was comfortable using it in busy city streets. One of the advantages is that it incorporates accessory points. This means you can add footmuffs parasols, changing bags and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block wind and rain, although it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single pram but you can attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child more legroom. It took around 20 minutes to assemble the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.
