It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the ultimate lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its nimble maneuverability and fold-down that fits into aeroplane overhead luggage. 3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest of all strollers we tested. They only cover the top, and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's lacking certain features we consider essential in double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. Despite this being quite a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. While walking along the stony path we let them swivel and it did this quite well, although it seemed more bumpy than the other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain best single jogging stroller pushchairs, but they also have a wide range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains, and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it does have a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

It is a standout model with many unique features, such as the ability of the seat to be turned between the parent and the world, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are strong and filled with foam, which reduces the risk of punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension which takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets with ease.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also be folded and raised for easier transport down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. The travel system comes offered with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that are included. The brakes have only one action and are colour coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair single is easy to use and has an excellent dual suspension. It can be folded with one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also light and sturdy. The seat can be reclined in various positions. It also is equipped with a double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't ideal - it's not as silent as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be set so that they face each one. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This should lessen sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

It folds compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
