It isn't able to clean pet hair off carpets and could not be an ideal choice for those who wish to have their robot completely replace their conventional vacuum cleaner. Additionally, it isn't equipped with the superior obstacle-avoiding capabilities of the top Roombas like the j7+ and s9+, which can make it more likely to fall into pet waste and spread it across flooring.

2. Roomba J7+

This is among the top robot vacuums for those with a mix of hard floors and carpet. Its most notable feature is obstacle detection, which cleverly eludes things like furniture legs and even pet waste. It is also very good at cleaning hard floors and also picking up hairs that are stuck in the brush.
