Roborock V3S Pro

This robot isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we tested, but it has all the basics. It has a big dust bin which can hold a lot of dirt prior to needing to be empty. The mop and Vacuum Robot Mop system is great for both carpets with hard floors as well as carpets with a low pile. It's also very quiet and we were able to watch the TV while it was working without feeling like it was bombarding us with noise.

Our testers loved how easy it was to install and use, and were impressed with its ability to clean all the mess off their flooring. It also did a excellent job of removing pet hair and other messes that get on carpeting, although it was less successful in removing stubborn stains. The app was easy to use and intuitive. It was able to schedule the vacuum to clean frequently to cut down on manual work. The only drawback is that it doesn't include any mapping technology or object avoidance technology, so you can't direct it to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips can be used).

The V3S Pro did not make it onto our top choices lists of trusted sources who test hands-on, but it received high marks from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. The V3S Pro was simple to use and set up, however the battery life was not long.
