The best cleaning robot with Mop Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and best cleaning robot with Mop corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's clutter that must be removed frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can need. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum for vacuum and mop known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can use it even if you're not home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you do not often find on robots in this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your house. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
