The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button. You can select a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move away when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, Vacuum Mop best with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
