Repair Patches

Consider adding adhesive patches to your kit if you have small holes in your gear. Available in clear and colored options, these patches provide durability against punctures, moisture saltwater, sunlight and temperatures that are extreme.

If you're on the trail but aren't able to do the full repair of your vulcaniser the patches that are self-adhesive will allow you to get back in the saddle with no hassle. Apply the self-adhesive patch, then roll it over.

Thoroughly clean the punctured area and then use the tube-scuffer or sandpaper to roughen the surface, which helps glue stick. Then, spread a thin layer of glue over the patch to cover an area that is at least as large as the patch itself. Let the glue become tacky then press the patch down with a firm pressure and hold it in place.
