The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot vacuum cleaner also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of the button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move away whenever it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home.
