The dust bin is expected to last for about 30 loads, which is about a month or two and you'll need to replace the filter every once in a while (which is actually recommended by iRobot). Our experience suggests that the iRobot S9+ doesn't get loud during operation, so it's a good option for those living with kids or pets.

Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid

Like other robotic vacuums robot, the X8 Hybrid has some issues with bare floors. It can miss pet fur and other small objects, and is known to knock things like its charger on the charging platform. It's also not as quiet, and the whirring noise can be distracting as with other models.

Roborock V3S pro

The robot doesn't come with the same features as some of the more expensive ones we tested, however it does cover the basics. It has a huge dust bin that can hold a lot of dirt prior to needing to be empty. The vacuum and mop system is great for carpets and hard floors with a low pile. It's also extremely quiet. We could watch television while it was cleaning without feeling like we were constantly bombarded by the sound.

Our testers were impressed by how simple it was to install and use, and were impressed by its capacity to take all the mess out of their floors. It was successful in picking up pet hair, messes, and carpeting, but it was a bit more difficult at removing stubborn stains. The app was easy to use and user-friendly. They could program the vacuum to clean regularly to minimize the amount of manual work. The only downside is that it doesn't have any mapping technology or object avoidance technology, so you can't send it to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips are compatible).

The V3S Pro did not make it onto our top choice lists from trusted sources who perform hands-on tests, but it was praised by Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. The V3S Pro was easy to use and set up, however the battery life was short.

Roborock Q Revo
