Its navigation capabilities are impressive and it was able to navigate effortlessly through the furniture in my apartment. It cleaned much of the dirt off my floors, and left them squeaky clean. The mopping feature, however, Dreame L30 was less effective - it failed to remove all the marks in my kitchen and was unable to clean up a spilled coffee. It's still great to scrub dust away however, and is used to quickly pick up spilled drinks or food.

The base station of the robot can be attached to a tap, which means it can auto-fill and drain its water tanks. This is an especially handy feature for those who live in a shared home and reduces the frequency of maintenance. The mops are washed and rinsed in the docking station after each use, and they can be washed up to 75 times before needing replacement. The app offers a lot of flexibility to set your settings based on the room. This includes setting a carpeted area, deciding on the order of cleaning and deciding the frequency at which the cleaner should return to the docking station to wash its mop pad.

This machine is amazing, in spite of its speed and noise issues. It does a great job of cleaning dirt and debris. It's great at tackling pet hair and other fine dust but struggled to remove the hard stains that were older than an hour old. It can also be a little confusing to setup and use, particularly in the case of people who aren't technologically adept.

The cost for running it is high, and could be as much as $100 per year. It is however a highly efficient cleaner and, due to its powerful motors and advanced technology, is the top robotic vacuum currently on the market. It's definitely worth the upfront cost for people who have big houses or who want to keep their carpets in good condition.
