WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item level upgrade used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources.
