Line-up

The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet style of previous albums and was a more ferocious, consistent effort with a harder edge than Hydra. The more experimental sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the development of the group. Bobby Kimball's growing virtuosity was reflected by the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature.
