How to Repair Bifold Door Top Roller Guide

If your bifold doors have become stuck and squeaking, they may require a little attention. They could need to be cleaned or lubricated, or even adjusted. The issue could be caused by loose bolts on the top pivot or by the top guide roller.

Remove the Door

Installing an interior set of repair bifold door top roller doors could seem like a complex and difficult project however, it's actually simple for anyone with a little experience. The frame is not the issue however getting the doors to close and fold smoothly is. Bifold doors are complex pieces of machinery, and as such, they might need some tuning up to ensure that they function properly. You'll want to make sure that the edges of your door are aligned to the frame when closed. Replace the Roller

Removal of the screw that adjusts the bottom pivot, loosening the top track's mounting screws and moving the anchor/pivot pin is typically enough to eliminate this issue.

A set top roller with new guides can be an inexpensive solution to the problem of your bifold door glass replacement doors being difficult to operate.
