3 Wheeled Buggies

A 3-wheel buggy is great for off-road walking & dealing with terrain, from bumpy pavements to woodland tracks. They can also be easier to manoeuvre up and down kerbs than models with four wheels.

Stability

With four wheels and a center of gravity that is balanced by the weight of your child's seat, buggies with four wheels are generally considered to be more stable than 3 wheel buggy for sale-wheelers. Three-wheel buggies are nevertheless worth considering since they can handle anything from rough terrain to busy streets.

Choose a buggy that has large rear wheels, and one that locks on the front. This makes it easier to drive and less likely to break off when driving on bumpy roads. These tyres will need regular pumping but will be far more durable than tyres that are solid and more likely to be puncture-proof. You should choose one with a swiveling front wheel that is locked to assist you in navigating difficult surfaces.

The fact that there is only one front wheel may also be a reason that three-wheelers tend to be more bulkier than buggies with four wheels when folded.
