Three Wheeled Buggies

Whether you're looking for a buggy to run with or just a stroller that can be used for neighbourhood walks, three wheeled buggies provide great mobility. Their compact design makes them easy to maneuver even in tight spots.

For a smooth ride, opt for a pram fitted with air-filled tyres. Look for models with 360deg front swivel wheels. They are prone, however, to punctures. Be prepared with an repair kit.

The latest figures have been released showing that the three-wheeled buggie - that noughties symbol of more money than wisdom is in a decline. They are being replaced by four-wheelers which can handle a wider variety of terrain, while still looking elegant and easy to push.

She said "it is solid to push and extremely solid when you're on rough terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable and require occasional pumping) come with suspension built-in, which was very comfortable for my kids.

The shape and size of the seat is a further factor to think about. You will want it to be large enough for your child's comfort and you will also need it to recline so that they can lie flat. Certain three-wheel buggies come with the option of lying flat, which lets your child face you, while others only allow a parent-facing one.

An excellent option for taking on off-road and muddy trails is the Roma Atlas. This is particularly useful when you bump against a tree or a kerb. The front wheel can be lifted slightly to avoid hitting it.

The only drawback to this great mobility is that the 3 wheel buggy's larger wheels sometimes mean it has to be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces - something to consider especially if you live in a city area. If this is a problem then a four-wheeled buggy might be the better choice for you.
