Buying a Double Buggy From Birth

When choosing the perfect double buggy, there are a lot of things to consider. Katie Billingsley, a postnatal retreat expert from the Fourth Trimester, gave us her tips on everything from seating options and age groups to folding mechanisms and storage.

A must-have for families with active children This buggy can grow with your family from twins through to toddlers. It's light and easy to maneuver and is able to tackle difficult terrain with ease.

What type of buggy do want?

A double buggy is ideal for transporting two children, not necessarily of the same age, side by side. They can also be used as prams and come with recline mechanisms in each seat, so your children can lie down in different positions. Many of them also have plenty of storage for everything from drinks and snacks to wipes and nappies. Often they're lightweight double pushchair, fold up easily and are small enough to fit into your car boot.
