The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of one button. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot cleaner with mop vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving on.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that must be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even remove wet spills but I would suggest drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot vacuum and mop mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This allows the robot to clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
