The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It's a great mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of one button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or vacuum cleaner two thorough mappings of your home to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We think it's a nice statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robot vacuum cleaner mop robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something needs attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can manage it even when not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station.
