The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough maps of your home to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. The mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The app will only inform you when something is not right like a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

The robot vacuum was also one of the best mapping robot vacuum performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The center of the control panel has a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
