iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review

Contrary to other robot vacuums, this one isn't afraid to take on the stairs. However, just like all vacuums and mops, it can get clogged by stray tennis shoes ribbons, beads or play jewelry, yarn, or other loose objects.

The iRobot Home App allows you to label rooms, and also create zones of no-go areas. You can also monitor the progress of your mops and their battery status.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo J7+ is a part of the iRobot mop and robot vacuum lineup and combines the robotic cleaner's smart mapping capabilities and its ability to handle spills. It is equipped with the same onboard acoustic sensor and iAdapt 2.0 Navigation that is used in other Roomba models and maps your home seven times more quickly than previous versions. The i3 Plus still has a number of other great features like its advanced cleaning system, 10x power-lifting suction, and a three-stage process for cleaning. It has a textured finish to keep pet hair, dust and fingerprints away.

It does well on plain floors and is able to clean the majority of debris however, it was a bit difficult with pet hair on low pile carpets. It does an excellent job with high pile carpets though and is quieter than its rivals. The i3 is a little more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it comes with a self-emptying station that empties the dirtbag, fills its water reservoir and cleans the mop pads.

With the i3 application, you can create schedules to clean at a specific time to suit your requirements. You can also use your voice assistant to control your robot and begin or stop the cleaning. It also tracks the unique floor plan of your home to give you a customized schedule and cleaning routines. It makes use of advanced mapping sensors to guide you through hardwood and carpet floors, and it also teaches you how you clean to improve performance.
