Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A specific item can be used to transform certain Pokemon. The Upgrade is obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their names on the item's hover display, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. Once a Glyph is at level 15 and is upgraded, it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and this is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonuses if certain conditions can be met.

Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the list of glyphs by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves creating a new account in order to increase your chances of acquiring a character or weapon you want.
