Tottenham have warned fans to stop a chant that references Dominic Solanke and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and another that includes the term ‘rent boy'.

Ahead of West Ham's visit on Saturday, season ticket holders received an email saying the club will take ‘a zero-tolerance approach' to discrimination, seemingly in reference to two songs — one of which makes lewd suggestions about Arteta and another calling Manchester United's Mason Mount a ‘Chelsea rent boy'.

They surfaced during Spurs' 3-0 win at United last month, with the club condemning them and vowing to punish offenders. There were no repeats in the next match at Brighton.

The email read: ‘We should firstly like to thank our fans for their cooperation ahead of the Brighton away fixture, at which there were no reports of homophobic chanting. We will not be complacent and are reminding supporters that the club takes a zero-tolerance approach to all discrimination.

‘Our stewards will once again be wearing body cams to identify individuals involved in unacceptable chanting, so the club can take the strongest possible action.
